United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) – National Architectural and Industrial Maintenance (AIM) Coatings rule. In 1998, the US EPA issued a nationwide AIM rule limiting emissions from volatile organic compounds (VOC) pursuant with the Clean Air Act. BRICKFORM Sealers that are compliant with the National EPA Volatile Organic Compound Emission Standards levels for Architectural Coatings are shown below:

BRICKFORM sealers that comply with the State VOC levels suggested by Lake Michigan Air Directors Consortium (LADCO). LADCO advises using OTC Model Rule 2002 (Phase I) for Architectural Coatings. Illinois and Indiana are the only LADCO member states that have adopted these levels.

Note: Michigan recently adopted OTC Phase II AIM regulations, but Solomon Colors can continue to sell EPA VOC Levels under the small business extension that is in effect until Jan 1, 2027.

Arizona: Most of Arizona follows the EPA established levels shown above. Maricopa County (Phoenix area) adopted the level shown below for concrete sealers.
