Different stamp colors denote different patterns within a set. For example, many sets have a red, yellow and blue stamp so you can alternate between colors to reduce pattern repetition. Others are lettered A, B, and C to serve the same purpose.

The number of stamps needed depends on the tool dimensions, project size and more. Generally, you’ll need enough concrete stamps to cover the width of the project, plus two more. Brickform stamp sets are based on a project size of 20 linear feet, if your project is larger, you may want more stamps.
